The film is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the Progress Rocket and Space Center and recounts the company's unique history, which began in 1894. Not every plant has gone from producing bicycles to manufacturing space rockets. Along with the rest of the country, Progress survived the Revolution, the Great Patriotic War, and Perestroika. But most importantly, Progress stood at the origins of the space industry in the USSR and Russia and became the leading center of domestic cosmonautics. Today, it has built over two thousand launch vehicles and over a thousand spacecraft.
