Dedicated to the anniversary of the events in South Ossetia. The documentary film is built on two parallel narratives: one is Valery Gergiev's trip to Tskhinval following the Georgian-Ossetian conflict and the story behind organizing and performing a concert in the destroyed city. The second narrative focuses on the Maestro's concert activities, rehearsing and staging Wagner's famous tetralogy "Der Ring des Nibelungen" in London, the final installment of which is the opera "Götterdämmerung" ("Twilight of the Gods").
